Ready to break the rules? Ready to loose weight fast? When you want to lose weight, their might be a number of rules you will want to follow in order to shed the pounds as quickly as possible That said, some rules just don’t work. No matter how great they sound or how many experts can show you the results following these rules will bring you, there are a number that should just be broken, at least some of the time. When you know which weight loss rules to break, you have a better chance of losing the weight you’d like to lose and keeping it off.
First, certain items used to “motivate” you simply won’t work. Although having a size 2 pair to jeans in your closet might seem like a good way to motivate yourself towards your weight loss goals, for most people this is just depressing and frustrating, especially if you’re a size 10 currently. Get rid of anything that does not fit. Also, stop weighing yourself every day. As you exercise, you’ll build muscle, which weighs much more than fat.
Another weight loss rule to break is the one that says you should cut out all of the junk food in your life. If you are currently drinking a six-pack every night or eating fast food every day, suddenly stopping this behavior won’t last long. When the cravings kick in, you’ll simply be too frustrated to continue with any diet. Instead, break this rule. Cut back on your calories and watch what you eat, but allow yourself to have sweets and other bad food a few times a week, gradually continuing to cut back until you don’t need those foods any longer.
Also, if a diet tells you to completely cut out one food group or another in general, break the rules. You need proteins, even if you are a vegetarian. You need carbohydrates, even if you do go on the Atkins diet. You even need fats, even if you are overweight. All the nutrients in your body have to work together on a daily basis to regulate your body’s function, and cutting out completely one link to that chain will ruin your entire health. Instead, learn which foods to eat in moderation and follow that rule instead.
Don’t be afraid to question weight loss rules that you come across. It is simply better to do that than to follow rules that you’re likely to break or that you don’t understand. Not all rules are good for your body, and that’s what weight loss should be—a healthy new lifestyle change. Talk to your doctor for more information on rules you should break.

This is ridiculous..galloping and skipping on the treadmill. running is enough. or hit up the elliptical i feel it hits all different parts of your legs. when lifting weights, you have to feel like your working the muscle out. 3lbs isnt going to do much. as long as you feel the burn, its all good. b

Hi! I’ve been looking into this program after reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. As well as a program Burn the Fat is, I’m a poor college kid that doesn’t have access to even a bench, so a lot of the strength-training moves don’t work for me. But all the lifestyle changes led me to shed 10lbs already!
I did this diet a few months ago…in ten days I lost 17lbs…the only thing is I added some chicken in the soup because I worked out on the ellyptical 7 out of those 10days! I ate a small baked potato on day 2 with a bit olive oil and 2 bannana’s only the next day I also did eat a fresh tomato each day because I didn’t add it to the soup! When I was sick of the soup I just munched on veggie’s like snow peas U can change the soup or the diet a bit by adding the veggie’s u like.. The purpose is to cleanse ur body with all that fibre and nutrients Do work out..at least walk or do stairs Of course u’ll see results when u cut out sugar and bread U’ll feel soo much better Highly recommend it Everything in moderation..especially when ur done Nowadays I freeze the soup and substitute it as lunch or dinner at times So far I’ve lost 35lbs Tomorrow I’m starting it all over because I have a wedding in 2 weeks Good luck! I made this for my husband as he has High Blood Pressure and Ive been trying to cut his salt intake. I didnt tell him it was low salt of course… but he loved it! Thank You so much cant wait for the next great diet dish!
I love the chocolate chip cookies the best. I actually do feel full all day long eating the cookies and drinking water. I make sure I eat plenty of veggies and chicken for dinner. I’ve lost 15 pounds in 25 days; not bad start.

I have been running walking about 4 days a week for the last three months. Normally about 1-2 miles a day. I have recently increased to 2 miles a day 4 days a week. I am also watching what I am eating. I haven’t lost a pound, but have definietly dropped a size. Is this normal not to be losing any weight?
I am able to receive success when dieting if I weigh every day and set a goal to lose one pound each Monday. I lose weight by watching what I eat and feel better by exercising.
i think its so important to be informed before starting any major diet or cleanse. there are way too many readily available cleanse diets that can be really harmful for people who are not aware of what they are consuming. great read!
