I never would have considered to look at things that way. This is going to make my day a lot easier.
If you want to add muscle, you have to consume more calories than you need. If you want to loss weight, you have to consume less calories than you need. It is really hard and inefficient to do both together.

Try a sliced cucumer with a tablespoon of vinegar as a healthy snack, I love it, and it does help.
I wish alcohol didn’t have all the calories it does in the first place, but now I learn it decreases the body’s ability to burn other calories? shoot. some people have pasta, some have chocolate, I’m not a fan of food like that…just a big beer drinker…you know..a beer with dinner. Peanut butter smoothies on the other hand, really fill you up, you don’t need to put much more in it. I use the Omega Smart Balance..it has 200 calories per serving, but the “good” or “better for you” calories…and it isn’t as sweet as say…skippy or other brands.
My problem is that I binge eat and take my stress out on food, so I feel like summer is the only time I’d really be able to commit to a diet/exercise program.
I couldn’t believe that wrap had so many calories-I’d pick that up thinking it was the good choice-it’s taught me to stop and check the label for calories and fat from now on. Also just threw the remaining Roses in the bin, bit late considering I ate about 20 of them last night while watching the show! Actually looking forward to getting back to my good healthy diet again!

I’m losing a bit of weight but not quickly by hardly eating any meat or dairy. I eat meat once per week (cutting down slowing before going vegetarian for ethical reasons again) and am lactose intolerant. I LOVE my veggies, both starchy and nonstarcy. And they have so many nutrients, as do whole grains. I couldn’t do it. My mom put me on a very low carb diet (similar to above) when I was a teen. Worked great initially, then I just couldn’t do it anymore.
I am 22 years old and just had a baby 11 weeks ago. I’m looking for a way to help me get back to what I was, 135-140 lbs. I’m now 155-160 and only 5’1″. I just don’t know what to do. Please help me!
I found it interesting that the Dukan diet recommends that if you miss oil badly, you can drizzle mineral oil over your salad. That gave me quite a start and I looked up mineral oil on Wikipedia which states “the oil may be absorbed to a small percentage into internal tissue and cause adverse reactions to the body…Mineral oil temporarily coats the intestines and prevents the uptake of certain essential vitamins and nutrients.” It is a byproduct of making gasoline — and they want me to eat it as an oil? Sounds like a typical fat diet idea to me! Â
Ok anyway, I’m an egg-man! I’m 21 and eat at least 5 full hard boiled eggs daily!! I’m very muscular and never get tired! I’m livin la vida loca! For people above 40, I wouldn’t recommend the yolk. I’d recommend 7 boiled egg whites: 3 in morning and 4 just before sleeping! For longevity and healthy long life! My family is full of rich doctors so u can take my word for it! Cheers!
